Week of May 26, 2025

No School on Monday, May 26th - Memorial Day

NWEA District Assessment

This is the last and final week of testing.  We will start the NWEA Assessments this week with the Reading Test on Tuesday and the Math Test on Wednesday.  The NWEA assessments play a key role in helping us understand how well students are mastering grade-level skills. These tests provide valuable information to teachers, parents, and schools about student progress and areas that may need extra support. While just one measure of learning, they help ensure all students are on track and receiving a high-quality education. Your support in encouraging your child to do their best truly makes a difference!

Week of May 5, 2025

 This week is Teacher Appreciation!

We are still looking for donations for Thursday and Friday!  Specials thanks to all the families that have already sign up and made donations, this is sure to be an amazing week!
We’re excited to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff during our annual Appreciation Week! This year’s theme is “You Set the Bar So High!”  To help us spoil them throughout the week, we’re asking for donations of food and paper.  If you're able to contribute, please take a moment to review the list of needed items and sign up.  All donations can be dropped off at KMS.
We are also gathering messages from students and parents/guardians to show our teachers and staff how much we care and appreciate them.  Please take a few minutes to complete the form below.  We will take these messages and create a display for all to enjoy!  Please complete the form here to send us a message.
Personal Appearance
With the nicer weather coming, here is a friendly reminder of the Personal Appearance Policy.
Students must wear: • Top (shirt, blouse, sweater, sweatshirt, tank, etc.) A top is an item of clothing beyond an undergarment. All tops must be held up by some type of supportive strap or sleeve and must cover the stomach and back. • Bottom (pants, shorts, skirt, dress, etc.) All bottoms must fully cover the buttocks. • Footwear (must have a sole).
Hats and/or hoods may be worn in hallways, cafeteria, and libraries as long as they do not cause disruption or obscure the face (except in religious observance). They may also be worn as a part of a specific program/curriculum/occasion. They are not to be worn during an event, in a classroom, or auditorium.
