8th Graders Visiting Kennett High School

On Wednesday, March 5th, 8th graders will be taking part in a transition field trip to Kennett High School.  They will get a full tour of the building and have the opportunity to visit and observe six career tech classes.  Students will take a survey ahead of time to match their interests with the classes they wish to observe so the experience will be personalized to meet the needs of each student.   Field trip forms and permission slips will come home soon, so be on the lookout.  There will also be a student/guardian information night for current 8th graders at Kennett High School on Wednesday, March 12th.  More information will be coming on that as well!  Any questions- please reach out to Ms. Thornton (a_thornton@sau9.org) or Mrs. McAllister (a_mcallister@sau9.org).
